Do you support recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by changing the Constitution or making some other kind of legal change?
I don't know
Should we have a statement that acknowledges the First Peoples of Australia?
Yes. This should be in the Constitution.
What should the statement say?
I don't understand the legal implications of what would work best.
Do you have any other comments on a statement about the First Peoples of Australia?
I would like to see all school children taught the name of the people group where they live and any Aboriginal history of their area Also I would like to see accurate Indigenous history taught e.g. from The Dark Emu researched from early papers in the Mit
Should the word 'race' be taken out of the Constitution?
I don't know
Should the Australian Parliament keep the power to make special laws for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples?
I don't know
Do you have any other comments on powers to make laws for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples?
I don't know the wording of the present constitution so am unable to comment intelligently on this . All I know is that if you start giving children all the truthful information then hearts will change and then legal stuff will follow.

Pray

Yes

I don't know
Do you have any other comments on this Indigenous group?
We shouldn't expect Indigenous people to all have the same opinions and solutions any more than we expect all non-Indigenous people to agree on the same solutions.
Should we delete section 25?
I don't know
Do you have any other comments?
I believe in identificational repentance. I may not have personally harmed Indigenous people but if I identify with the good stuff about our history then I must also identify with the bad stuff and repent on behalf of our historical wrongdoings.
